Eye Surgery Associates ophthalmologists Drs Hussain Patel and Monika Pradhan are now offering their subspecialist skills in glaucoma, medical and surgical retina, cataract and general ophthalmology at Re:Vision in Mt Wellington, Auckland as visiting consultants.

“We were looking for subspecialist expert support outside of Re:Vision’s anterior segment niche… and Hussain and Monika were looking for a well-located facility for their central Auckland patients,” said Re:Vision’s Dr Trevor Gray. “Hussain and Monika’s expertise in glaucoma and retina (respectively) were an obvious fit.”

As anterior segment specialists, Dr Gray and his colleague Dr Mo Ziaei prefer to focus entirely on their area expertise, said Dr Gray. “So, we are happy to offer visiting consultants like Hussain and Monika access to our facility if there is a good fit for the optimal shared care of our patients.”

Drs Patel and Pradhan will continue to practise under the Eye Surgery Associates banner while using the clinical and surgical facilities at Re:Vision, said Dr Patel. “The aim is to have both practices working together in a supportive and collaborative manner.”
