Snowvision 2018

Snowvision, the “coolest” boutique conference in the Southern Hemisphere, is on again this year from 1-4 August at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in wonderful wintry Queenstown.

This year’s conference once again mixes morning lectures and afternoon workshops and tutorials with free time in the middle part of the day for skiing and exploring the beautiful Queenstown area.

Educational organisers, Hamish Caithness and Grant Watters, have created an exciting programme, including invited speakers such as contact lens-designer extraordinaire Dr Jerry Legerton from the US, who currently holds more than 50 patents. Also, back by popular demand, is Professor Erica Fletcher from the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, where she leads the Visual Neuroscience Laboratory. International speakers will be joined by our own local talent, including Associate Professor Jennifer Craig, Dr Jesse Gale, Paul Rose and many more.

The social programme, put together by Dave Robinson and Catherine Small, will once again include those three favourite options, go karting, skeet shooting and golf.
