An opportunity has come up for someone new to join our experienced team. We are looking for someone who has exceptional customer service and sales skills and is committed to upholding our practice philosophy of developing and maintaining long term customer relationships. We are a well-established, busy, and successful independent optometry practice in Wellington’s CBD with two practices.
The successful applicant will:

- Have excellent communication skills
- Have confidence in selling high end quality products
- Be motivated and committed to ongoing learning
- Have your own personal style and an eye for fashion
- Be competent in dispensing lenses and frames and have a passion for technology
- Be adaptable, friendly and a team player
- Be able to work both independently and alongside a diverse team
A dispensing qualification is preferred but we will consider applicants who are still training or those who have a strong retail, sales and customer service background with previous optical experience and an understanding of spectacle lens designs and fitting eyewear. We are happy to put the right applicant through training to become a dispensing optician
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) but we would consider shared part-time.
