The Cornea & Contact Lens Society (CCLS) of New Zealand’s 2021 one-day conference will now be held on Sunday 28 February at the Harbourside Function Venue (formally Mac’s) in Wellington.
2021 was pegged for the Society’s biennial two-day conference, but given current pandemic limitations, which are likely to affect international speaker attendance, the CCLS council has decided to delay the two-day conference until 2022, said CCLS president Roberta McIlraith.
The keynote speaker for the one-day conference is cataract, anterior segment, corneal and refractive surgeon Dr Sue Ormonde. The day will offer a mix of face-to-face and virtual options, allowing for a pivot to virtual (live-streamed) conferencing if required. For more, https://www.contactlens.org.nz/
