Specsavers has unveiled its sunglass collection for spring and summer 2019, featuring key trends including oversized square frames, cat-eye sunglasses with sharp angles and acetate colours in shades of pink and rich earthy browns.

With over 100 sunglass styles being launched throughout the season, the segment is moving from a supporting to a starring role, said Specsavers Stig Engelbreth Hansen, global head of product design.

Coming soon, Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf are launching three sunglass styles as part of their new exclusive collection. “Expect a collection that is a manifestation of Viktor & Rolf’s design aesthetics and brand values; unexpected elegance, conceptual glamour and provocative couture,” said Hansen.
