Marchon Eyewear’s Skaga brand is kicking off 2022 with a new optical collection created with a fresh design direction and boosted by a new ‘Different look, same heritage’ campaign and website.

 

True to its Swedish roots, Skaga offers stylish eyewear paired with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. “The new collection features sleek, timeless frames with updated design details that meet the distinct functionality the brand is known for,” said Thomas Burkhardt, senior vice president global brands, marketing and design at Marchon Eyewear. “Ever since its creation in 1948, Skaga has been a brand that challenges the eyewear category, offering contemporary designs, leading edge materials and elevated functionality. We are thrilled to now introduce Skaga’s evolved brand positioning behind a strong, engaging campaign and very attractive new eyewear designs.”

 

Moving towards more sustainable design and production, Skaga’s new styles are also made from at least 45% bio-based cellulose acetate, a cleaner alternative to standard petroleum-based plastics.
