Inspired by nature, David Green’s handcrafted glasses are now available in New Zealand through BTP International Designz.
Founder David Green said he has made it his mission to incorporate elements of nature into his designs, using real leaves, reeds, mother of pearl and a variety of woods, making each frame a unique piece. Sustainability and care for the environment are also key for Green and his collections are designed using only biodegradable cotton-based acetate and certified coatings. All components are sustainably manufactured, no harmful substances enter production and the factory water is recycled.
Discovering David Green at Mido earlier this year, BTP’s Trish Orr said Green’s focus on nature stood out and felt like New Zealand. “What appealed to me about David Green is very much the nature elements and the story behind the brand. Introducing him to the New Zealand market, I’ve had great success already. The shapes are very easy to wear – it’s the stunning colours combined with unique nature elements that make them interesting.”
Designed to look good and feel comfortable, David Green’s 47 styles include Japanese titanium frames, with every model available in at least three colour options.
