Johnson & Johnson Vision has launched the Tecnis Eyhance Toric II intraocular lens (IOL) with Tecnis Simplicity Delivery System, a next-generation monofocal IOL for cataract patients with astigmatism.

Compared with a standard aspheric monofocal IOL, this new addition to the Tecnis family of IOLs allows patients to achieve significantly improved intermediate vision, which is required for many important daily tasks, along with 20/20 distance vision, said the company. “This lens allows for high-quality vision at both intermediate and far distances and is specifically engineered for rotational stability. It comes in the preloaded Simplicity injector, improving efficiency while providing smooth and controlled delivery.”
