Eye Surgery Associates’ new practice manager Margot Goldsmith

Auckland-based Eye Surgery Associates has appointed Margot Goldsmith as its new practice manager.

With more than 20 years’ experience working in administration and business management roles in primary and secondary care in the health sector, Goldsmith is passionate about delivering the highest standard of quality patient care, said Eye Surgery Associates’ Dr Hussain Patel. “Margot is also a qualified Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners foundation assessor – a programme which represents a collection of legislative, regulatory and clinical requirements for all health practices in Aotearoa. The programme is a nationally consistent benchmark by which a practice can measure its current quality of care and progress toward health equity outcomes to achieve accreditation.”

Goldsmith said she was delighted to be joining the professional, friendly and close-knit team at Eye Surgery Associates. “They are dedicated to supporting patients along their personal journey to the most favourable results in their eye healthcare.”

In her spare time, Goldsmith said she enjoys long walks and spending quality time with her family, she is also an established stained-glass artist who has won several awards for her work.
