On public display for the first time in Australasia at O=Mega19, the new multi-purpose, fully automated Revo FC from Optopol combines the latest optical coherence tomography (OCT) functionality with a high-resolution fundus camera.
Designed to save space and time, practice owners can use the new Revo FC as a full colour fundus camera, for simultaneous OCT and fundus images, for more detailed OCT imaging, including OCT angiography, and as a biometry device, said Optimed’s Craig Norman. “It’s a high spec OCT model with a fundus camera. This is huge now for optometry for myopic control, orthokeratology and lens developments. It’s particularly great for specialised practices and for those more mainstream optometrists with a small practice who’d like to have as much technology as possible but are space limited.”
With 80,000 A-scan/sec, it’s also one of the fastest and most high resolution OCTs on the market today, he added. “It’s powerful enough for ophthalmology. There’s no compromise here.”
