The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) unveiled a new gold logo to celebrate 50 years of the College.

Throughout this year, RANZCO is planning to share insights into its 50 years through special interviews and activities highlighting the achievements of RANZCO members.

“A lot has happened in 50 years. Many hundreds of thousands of people in Australia and New Zealand have had their sight improved or saved by the skills of ophthalmologists and the innovative procedures that have been introduced,” said Associate Professor Heather Mack, RANZCO’s president. “Although this is a year of celebration and looking back at what has been achieved, it is also a time to look to the future and how ophthalmology can continue to innovate and improve the lives of patients.”
