Optometry Western Australia's annual conference Western Australian Vision Education (Wave) is back at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 March 2020.
The two-day programme of workshops and lectures includes a dispensing optician stream running parallel to the main conference on Sunday. The speaker list represents ophthalmology and optometry talent, including Dr Olivia MacVie sharing her insights on managing ocular inflammation, Dr Antony Clark offering paediatric clinical pearls and Dr Lauren Ayton delving into classification, risk predication and new imaging signs to look out for in age-related macular degeneration.
Optometry Western Australia’s executive officer Evan MacRae said he looks forward to welcoming New Zealand optometrists. “Wave offers delegates first class education packed with the wonders of Western Australia; a pristine tourism destination. Unmissable weather conditions, balmy sunsets by the beach, historic Fremantle, wineries and so much more.”
CPD points available to all New Zealand delegates. Registration options for weekend, one day and half days. www.optometry.org.au/about-us/our-organisation/optometry-wa/our-events/wave-2020-conference/
