The Save Sight Society Conference returns to Auckland this year, bringing all the latest advances in ophthalmology to the Park Hyatt Hotel on Friday 1 August.
The conference is a unique event where clinicians, researchers and innovators unite to advance ophthalmic care, said co-organiser Dr Sarah Hull. “Together, we’ll explore breakthroughs, share knowledge and strengthen our commitment to preserving vision and preventing blindness for all Kiwis. Clearer vision begins with connected minds and shared purpose.”
Key aspects of the programme include ocular oncology, uveitis, paediatrics, retina, cornea and refractive surgery and, at the time of print, confirmed speakers included ocular oncologist Dr Riyaz Bhikoo and uveitis and medical-retinal specialist Dr Rachael Niederer.
Optometry CPD is under application, with more information to be available soon at www.savesightsociety.org.nz. Abstract deadline is 6 June.
