The World Council of Optometry (WCO) has launched a new online resource hub to support eyecare practitioners (ECPs) in addressing presbyopia.  

Showcasing the global standard of care resolution for presbyopia and the ageing eye, released in 2024 by WCO and EssilorLuxottica, the platform combines expert insights, educational materials and research to help ECPs across the globe enhance patient outcomes in presbyopia care. 

The hub offers webinars via EssilorLuxottica’s learning platform Leonardo and easily implementable peer-reviewed papers on the mitigation, measurement and management of presbyopia and the ageing eye. For more, see https://presbyopia.worldcouncilofoptometry.info/.
