Americani model Flynn

In the 1950s, Rome became the place for American actors and lush Italian-based movies. This meeting between the US and Italy has inspired the new Talla collection, Americani, designed by Gianluca Gualandi. Epitomising the Hollywood glamour of The Talented Mr Ripley and accorded the Italian quality of ‘sprezzatura’ – style made to look effortless – the HDCA (high density celluloid acetate) frames come in colour combinations of opal and glossy crystal. The hinges are Japanese-style stainless steel, for comfort and flexibility.
