Acuity Lens Co is expanding its product range with a new progressive lens range, the Premium C Series, offering high-technology precision for complex prescriptions.
Designed for high Rx and prism prescriptions, the range leverages digital manufacturing techniques to accommodate scripts beyond the limits of conventional lenses, said Acuity’s Linton Dodge. “With the addition of position-of-wear personalisation, these lenses can be fine-tuned for each patient’s unique visual dynamics.”
The C Series also enables production of the renowned Shaw lens, developed in collaboration with Dr Peter Shaw, said Dodge. “This lens technology is designed to ensure both eyes work harmoniously, and is ideal for conditions such as anisometropia, keratoconus, non-adapt cases, monovision contact lens wearers and patients with brain injuries or eye strain. The Shaw lens within the C Series represents the gold standard in binocular vision correction.”
