American actress Kate Walsh has teamed up with Alcon to promote dry-eye health. Walsh, best known for her roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Emily in Paris, is sharing her dry-eye journey as part of Alcon’s new ‘Make Every Look Count’ campaign, coinciding with the launch of Alcon’s Systane Complete Preservative-Free Lubricant Eye Drops.
Walsh said she suffered from dry eye for years before she was diagnosed and became a Systane user. “I blamed my tired eyes on the bright lights on set, too much screen time, the need for a new eye prescription and other things.”
When not filming, Walsh is an activist with a strong voice for climate-change action, ocean conservation and women’s rights, who openly supported both Barack Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s US presidential campaigns.
