Marco Caccini, EssilorLuxottica’s new general manager wholesale ANZ

EssilorLuxottica is honing its Australia and New Zealand joint organisation, appointing Marco Caccini as its first general manager wholesale ANZ. Luxottica ANZ country manager Stephen Locke and Essilor ANZ country manager Pierre Longerna will report directly to Caccini while maintaining their current roles, said the company.

Since joining Essilor in America in 2000, Caccini has held several senior strategic, commercial and operational roles in the US and Europe, including CEO of Essilor Italia and, most recently, leading Essilor’s activities in southern Europe.

Caccini said he was excited about his new role, leading the evolution of EssilorLuxottica ANZ and helping the organisation’s regional customers grow their businesses. With the group’s joint expertise in lens technology and eyewear manufacturing comes great strengths and opportunities, he said.
