For New Zealand practitioners wishing to take part in the 2025 international contact lens (CL) prescribing survey, don’t delay – the survey closes at the end of September.
Jagrut Lallu, founder of the New Zealand Eye Research Centre, said it is important for New Zealand to be represented as the survey ultimately influences prescribing trends globally. “It is our belief that New Zealand practitioners are ahead of the curve and the data will go a long way to supporting this view. When published, the data can help us communicate our approach to CL prescribing and demonstrate what we are doing differently, compared with other countries.”
To encourage more practitioners to participate, the NZ Eye Research Centre will gift one lucky respondent a rigid lens fitting set. To enter the draw, email research@nzerc.com before 30 September 2025, advising that you submitted the completed survey.
Collating information about 10 CL fits, the survey is open to all CL-prescribing optometrists and ophthalmologists and covers general information about the patient and prescriber, CL data, lens design, modality, replacement frequency and care system.
