Nautica Eyewear has launched Tenite Renew, a new collection featuring styles made from sustainable, bio-based material from Eastman and certified recycled content.

The recycling technology uses hard-to-recycle plastic waste in place of fossil feedstock, reducing carbon emissions and leaving fossil-based resources behind, while ensuring the same high performance as conventional materials, explained Thomas Burkhardt, president of Marchon Eyewear. “We are thrilled to continue our commitment to taking steps toward social responsibility and making a positive impact on the environment with Tenite Renew.”

Nautica’s styles offer customers more sustainable choices when shopping for lifestyle eyewear, he said, adding the collection includes two sun and three optical styles, all designed with lightweight construction, classic shapes and lively pops of colour.
