The Ministry of Health is inviting submissions on its review of the regulation of the New Zealand health workforce.
Two of the proposed changes are a review of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and the amalgamation of responsible authorities (regulators/RAs).
Options are outlined in a discussion document Health workforce | Ministry of Health NZand feedback will inform the ministry’s advice to the Government on possible changes to health workforce regulation.
