Okia has unveiled its new, patented 360° hinge technology, offering an integrated 360⁰ rotation hinge system for improved durability.

“No matter how hard you twist it, our patented 360° hinge allows the temple of the frame to rotate 360 degrees so it's durable and comfortable,” said Jacky Lam, Okia’s managing director. “Thanks to this hinge the frame harnesses the temple's true potential to ensure complete freedom of movement… and reduces the unexpected mishaps caused by the hustle and bustle of modern daily life”.

Made in Germany, the new Okia hinge successfully passed a rotation test 10,000 times. The temple can bend 45⁰ outward and 25⁰ degrees upward and downward, as well as rotate 360⁰. It can be integrated into any kind of frame temples making it suitable for frames for all ages, said Lam.
