Hoya Vision Care Australia & New Zealand has launched a new, next-generation portfolio of occupational lenses, which the company says provides spectacle wearers with enhanced visual fields and comfort.
Developed for easy adaptation, Hoya’s updated lenses are designed to meet the growing demand from eyecare professionals as people spend more time indoors, said Hoya CEO Craig Chick. “The lenses help improve the wearer’s vision comfort and ergonomic posture, allowing them to work or focus on near and intermediate vision areas in a more relaxed and comfortable way, which is beneficial over time.”
The suite of lenses includes: Hoyalux iD WorkStyle 3, designed for the clearest, most comfortable and natural vision when switching between different digital devices at distances up to 1m, 2m and 6m; Hoyalux WorkStyle Business, providing a mid-tier solution for progressive lens wearers who like wide vision areas when working on near and intermediate vision distances up to 2m or 4m; Hoyalux WorkSmart Room, an entry-level occupational lens with a distance range up to 4m; and the SuperReader, designed for heavy readers, offering support at near distances and much better depth compared to ordinary reading lenses, said Hoya. The new lenses will replace Hoya’s previous indoor designs.
