Australian optometry chain Oscar Wylee is expanding to New Zealand with two Auckland stores, Westfield St Lukes and 130 Ponsonby Road, opening this month.
With a 60-store network across Australia, expanding into the New Zealand market was a natural next step, according to the company which is also “open to the idea of further expansion in New Zealand”.
Oscar Wylee operates a joint venture partnership programme allowing partners to buy into a store and receive profit share. The partnership enables franchisers to access Oscar Wylee’s supply chain infrastructure, unique products and brand.
“As a partner, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of your business and receive an attractive annual salary. Oscar Wylee can provide a loan that will cover up to 80% of the store investment and each store will come equipped with modern Topcon medical equipment, DRS and visual field machines and state-of-the-art custom information technology systems,” says Oscar Wylee’s Ino Tumamao.
Established in 2012, the optical chain says it prides itself on its culture and innovation capabilities: “We are a lifestyle brand with one objective - to offer quality eyewear to customers at a revolutionary price while leading a socially conscious business.”
