Silmo Singapore cancelled amid rising costs

April 9, 2025

Silmo Singapore, planned for 23–25 April 2025, is cancelled.

The cancellation occurred in a market plagued by the rise in both travel costs and prices in Singapore, causing several major business events, including USANA Health Sciences’ and Herbalife’s, to seek alternative destinations in the Asia-Pacific.

A Herbalife representative told TTGmice the organisation is hosting its last Asia-Pacific Extravaganza event in Singapore this May due to high costs. “Hotel rates are way too high in comparison with countries around the region. Catering is restricted, pricey and of poor quality. Singapore is losing its competitive edge as neighbouring countries will be able to offer better deals.”

Silmo organisers were contacted for a comment.

Silmo’s sister fair in Istanbul is planned for 19–22 November 2025, while Silmo Paris is from 26–29 September 2025. For more, click here.
