One lens, three colours. Transitions Drivewear is the world’s only polarised lens that changes to three different colours. The polarised photochromic lens was developed with ophthalmologists and optometrists in the US combining two global leading technologies: Transitions photochromic technology and Younger Optics’ NuPolar polarisation. The result is a polarised sun lens that is optimised for driving, sport and other outdoor activities.

While always polarised, the three colours of Transitions Drivewear deliver optimal vision in different conditions. In low light or heavily overcast conditions, the lens is olive, its lightest colour; when driving, Transitions Drivewear adapts to copper, providing greater depth perception, enhanced contrast and excellent traffic signal recognition as it changes to 70% absorption behind the car windscreen; in bright sunlight, the lens is dark brown, its darkest colour, using both the visual and UV light photochromes to provide maximum protection from bright sunlight while also blocking blinding glare.
