Launched at Mido, Blackfin’s latest collection Vitra – from the Latin vitrum (glass) – evokes purity and light. The front is made of VitraCore, a proprietary Blackfin technology based on a high-performance polymer. Its thickness is intentionally greater than the market standard – a choice Blackfin said challenges the idea of fragility typically associated with transparent materials, making it incredibly tough while remaining exceptionally lightweight. “Vitra is the transparent evolution of titanium,” said Blackfin CEO Nicola Del Din.
