Elmarie Pretorius, the new Zeiss national sales manager – New Zealand

Elmarie Pretorius is the new national sales manager for Zeiss in New Zealand, while also keeping her Zeiss professional services and product management responsibilities.

“As an optometrist, Elmarie is poised to leverage her expertise to enhance our presence in the market, providing professional insights and personalised support for your business,” said Gail Giordani, head of Zeiss Vision Care Australia and New Zealand.

Pretorius said she is very excited to step into the national sales manager role. “This opportunity matches my passion for sales and leadership, and I’m eager to lead a talented sales team to drive growth and enhance our market presence. The roles of professional services, product management and sales manager align well together, as insights from product management can directly inform sales strategies and professional services can enhance customer satisfaction and retention.”

In her downtime, Pretorius said she enjoys reading a good book to unwind and relax. “I also have a deep love for the ocean, so you can often find me at the beach, either paddle boarding or taking a long walk along the shore.”

Across the Tasman, Patricia Rogers has been appointed national sales manager for Australia as Jason Bowen moves to a new role as customer engagement manager.
