US socialite Paris Hilton is the new face of Lanvin Eyewear’s northern hemisphere spring-summer 2021 advertising campaign.
Inspired by 1950s portraits of New York City’s society women – called ‘swans’ – the campaign invokes the modern-day swan, the influencer. Lanvin designer Bruno Sialelli chose Paris Hilton as she epitomises society’s focus on social media. The first reality star, Hilton installed a new paradigm based on a self-generated way of communicating, which influenced and inspired new generations, amplified by social networks and mainstream media, said the fashion house.
