The Australasian College of Optical Dispensing (ACOD) and OptiBlocks-combined workshops have moved to a new home with Kiwi frame wholesaler CMI Optical in Birkenhead, Auckland.
“We are thrilled to have a new home with Brad Boult and his team at CMI Optical in central Auckland. The location is ideal. We know the area and the students know where to find us. There were even homemade biscuits for the students on their first day, courtesy of Brad’s staff. Amazing!” said ACOD director James Gibbins.
“A massive thanks to Steve Stenersen and his awesome moving team who relocated all the ACOD teaching equipment, including but not limited to Zoe Ross, Vineet Chauhan and our new host, Brad Boult.”
Zoe Ross, ACOD optical dispensing trainer, delivered the first live New Zealand workshop since lockdown. “The new premises are fantastic and it’s very kind of Brad Boult and the team at CMI Optical to share their space. It was great having students back in workshops and being able to teach in person again,” she said.
