At their AGM on Saturday the 9th November, Blind and Low Vision NZ (formerly The Blind Foundation) appointed Wellington dispensing optician John Billings to its board.
John has a long-held passion for dispensing low vision aids in practice and previously served on the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board for nine years.
He said he is looking forward to working with BLVNZ for the three-year tenure as a board director and aims to help the charity progress its vision of helping blind and low vision Kiwis live life without limits.
