New to Toomac Ophthalmic is the Blink pre- and post-op care pack, expressly for clinicians to give their patients.
On display for the first time on Toomac’s stand at this year’s RANZCO NZ meeting, the pack includes Blink Intensive Tears preservative-free eye drops, along with the new Blink Hygiene Eyelid Wipes, which are indicated for pre- and post-surgical eyelid hygiene to help reduce irritation and minimise discomfort.
The company’s pharmaceutical account manager Yvette Beatty said the all-in-one pack is designed to support ocular surface optimisation before surgery and promote comfort and healing afterwards. “It may also help improve practice efficiency by supporting ocular surface health throughout the surgical journey and reducing the need for unscheduled follow-up visits.”
Blink Intensive Tears preservative-free eye drops contain 0.20% sodium hyaluronate and are hypo-osmolar and formulated with a dual-polymer system. Supplied in single-use ampoules, they are designed for ease of use and patient comfort.
The new Blink Hygiene Eyelid Wipes are indicated for allergies, inflammation, blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis and pre- and post-surgical eyelid hygiene. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, allantoin and bio glycerol, they are designed to hydrate, soothe and support healing. The sterile gauze wipes are free from alcohol, parabens, latex and fragrance, making them suitable for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, children and surgical patients.
