Dynamic Eyewear has appointed Damian Peters as its new sales account manager to take over part of director and co-founder Graeme Bond’s sales accounts.
“Graeme has been in optics for more than 40 years and felt the timing was right to step back and work part-time, covering Auckland, Northland and the Bay of Plenty area only,” said director and co-founder Paul Beswick. “I then had the tough job of finding someone to fill Graeme’s shoes, something we are confident Damian will do. Although Damian hasn’t had the pleasure of being in optics before, he has the personality and the skills to do the Dynamic Eyewear products proud.”
Having transitioned from landscaping to relationship management and brokering, Peters said he was excited to be taking on this new role. “I’m really looking forward to learning about optics, meeting everyone and building relationships along the way.”
When he’s not getting to grips with eyecare, Peters said he enjoys tinkering in the garage on cars or his latest mountain-bike build. “I enjoy getting out exploring mountains, cruising down lakes or biking through the vast tracks our country has to offer. I also love a good craft beer, so if you know of any good spots in your town, I am all ears.”
