Natalia Tyan is the new operations manager at Essilor Laboratory NZ, replacing Donald Crichton, who has relocated to Australia.
A former EssilorLuxottica store manager, Tyan said the transition has been both rewarding and a great learning curve. “Moving from a customer-facing store environment to a broader operational role has given me a much wider perspective on the business. I now get to focus on improving processes, supporting teams across logistics, production and customer service, and driving efficiency at a larger scale, which I really enjoy.”
With a few months already under her belt in the role, she said she enjoys working closely with different teams and seeing how small improvements in processes can make a real impact on both team efficiency and customer experience. “I also really value the opportunity to build a strong team culture, with a focus on collaboration, flexibility and continuous improvement. Working with a larger team and supporting our customers on a bigger scale is also very rewarding,” she said.
EssilorLuxottica NZ has also added a new account manager to the team, welcoming experienced optics professional Bradley Dale.
