Copenhagen Specs is the latest fair to join the Silmo family, with its newest edition Barcelona Specs kicking off the partnership.
“We share the same vision on independent eyewear and business development and working together for the benefit of the community seemed quite obvious,” said a joint statement.
Launched in 2014 in the Danish capital, Copenhagen Specs’s goal has always been to support and promote independent eyewear, said Morten Gammelmark, Copenhagen Specs’s founder and CEO. “Together with the Silmo network, Copenhagen Specs, while its successful concept and unique atmosphere will remain as it is, will benefit from an enhanced visibility among eyewear trade fairs and more importantly, will be able to develop other destinations in Europe and around the world at a quicker pace.”
Barcelona Specs will share the concept of its sister fairs in Copenhagen and Berlin, with a product focused approach and small booths to create a cosy atmosphere.
