Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is celebrating World Sight Day (October 8th), by running a free virtual eye health symposium over three days, October 7th, 14th and 21st, from 7pm to 9pm AEDT.
Day 1 (Oct 7th) offers a panel discussion between professional associations from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, on how they have contributed to the advancement of eye heath, followed by an ANZ focussed discussion on how to provide vision care to those with limited access.
Day 2 (Oct 14th) will feature discussion on the role of primary care in community, case studies on co- management between ophthalmology and optometry and the role of digital technology.
Day 3 (Oct 21st) addresses the visual challenges people are undergoing by working from home, due to the current pandemic. Dr Luke Cahill will focus on Digital Eye Strain in more detail, as well as the possible solutions.
The symposiums are open to all optometrists, practice and support office staff. Local CPD points are pending approval.
