Sea2see has partnered with the French Sail Grand Prix team (SailGP), providing them with sunglasses made from recycled marine plastic. “The world-class athletes of France SailGP share our passion and commitment to the protection of the oceans for future generations,” said Sea2see founder François van den Abeele.
Sea2see created the special edition Storm sunglass with flash blue revo glare-blocking polarised lenses and the France SailGP logo inscribed on the temple, said van den Abeele. The global SailGP series, often dubbed the world's most exciting on-water race, was created by Oracle founder Larry Ellison and Kiwi yachtie Russell Coutts. Sailing fast hydrofoil catamarans in a variety of spectacular locations, the aim of the competition was to establish a commercially viable global race series with a large audience.
