Australian company FM Distribution (France Medical), distributor of high-end medical equipment since 2012 has closed due to financial difficulties.
Established by French businessman Aurelien Coursodon, the business began as a distributor for intense pulsed light (IPL) equipment made by E-Swin in France and rapidly expanded its catalogue to include other innovative European technologies for the health and beauty market.
Those involved did not return calls by press time, but an announcement on August 12 said it was with “sincere regret” the company was closing permanently and blamed the closure on the current financial climate.
