The annual Glaucoma New Zealand Symposium is taking place on Sunday 18 August at Alexandra Park in Auckland.
Themed, A New Era in Glaucoma Management, this year’s conference promises to be an exciting and truly valuable one-day education event for all eye health professionals with an interest in glaucoma, say organisers.
The main keynote is Sydney University and Sydney Eye Hospital’s Professor Ivan Goldberg, Life Governor of Glaucoma Australia. Prof Goldberg will be discussing, Optimising glaucoma management - a patient's perspective.
Other speakers, from ophthalmology and optometry, will deliver a series of rapid-fire presentations on a wide range of topics, including glaucoma diagnosis, special issues in glaucoma, glaucoma treatment and challenging cases, with up to 5.9 clinical diagnostic professional education points available.
