Ophthalmic equipment company Designs for Vision (DFV) has appointed Jonathan Spencer as its new surgical territory manager for New Zealand.
Previously with Obex Medical, Spencer has worked for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Essilor and Alcon surgical where he was responsible for IOLs and phacoemulsification equipment.
DFV sales manager David Martitz said, “Jonathan has a great track record and extensive experience in surgical ophthalmology and will prove instrumental in driving the company’s renewed focus in providing outstanding products and service to the New Zealand ophthalmologists and hospitals.”
Spencer said he was looking forward to returning to the ophthalmic world after being involved with cardiac and general surgery with Obex. “Ophthalmology sales is where my passion lies and I'm very proud to be returning to the industry to represent a great organisation like Designs for Vision.”
