At the end of March, 90 ophthalmologists, ophthalmic nurses and technicians from across New Zealand gathered in Auckland for the annual Macular Degeneration New Zealand (MDNZ) symposium to share and learn from each other’s insights and experiences. Guest speakers included Associate Professor Andrew Chang from Sydney and Drs Dianne Sharp, David Squirrel and Ainsley Morris who did not disappoint with their insightful presentations, said MDNZ’s Phillippa Pitcher. “MDNZ would like to thank all attendees for being so open and enthusiastic and Bayer NZ for sponsoring the symposium and making it possible for many to be there.”
