Children’s frame customisation concept Funoogles has partnered with fellow New York-based business ClearVision Optical to further its reach into the optical market. The online platform, aimed at 6-12 year-olds and their parents, allows users to mix and match frame fronts and arms in a range of colours and styles. Founder Jessica Darcy developed the concept in 2015 with her daughter, Ella-Jane, who was born with a congenital cataract and wished for eyewear she could design herself.
