Lara D' has launched a new, sustainable line produced exclusively in biodegradable materials. The Malama collection – malama being the Hawaiian word for ‘to care for and protect’ – signals a commitment from the brand to a new eco-friendly philosophy. Inspired by nature and a desire to look after the Earth, designer Lara D'Alpaos created the line for those who wish to purchase consciously without compromising on style.
Named after flowers, all 10 optical styles successfully blend the design and colours typical of the Lara D' brand while using elegant sustainable and recycled materials. "With the Malama line we wanted to plant a seed of environmental responsibility in our way of working, using the most innovative formulas in the field of bioplastic. Our new Malama glasses are produced by Mazzucchelli 1849," said D'Alpaos.
