Despite Melbourne’s recent lockdown, O=Mega21 organisers are pushing ahead with the region’s much-anticipated, largest annual optometry conference and eyecare show in the Southern Hemisphere and are hoping many New Zealand-based optometrists will attend.
Developed by ODMA and Optometry Victoria South Australia, O=Mega21 will take place on 2-4 September at the Melbourne Convention Centre, with CPD for conference attendees from both sides of the Tasman. “Over 620 conference attendees and 250 trade-fair visitors have pre-registered despite the current environment, which hasn’t exactly encouraged people to book far ahead,” said Finola Carey, ODMA chief executive. “It is clear our industry can’t wait to reunite under one roof to learn, to network, to socialise and to do business.”
