Premiering in Sydney and concurrent with the popular light festival, Vivid Sydney, the 2022 O-Show from 27-28 May is aspiring to be bigger and better than ever before.
“Vibrant Sydney will not disappoint this May when O-Show opens its doors in this beautiful city for the first time,” said Optical Distributors & Manufacturers Association’s (ODMA) CEO Finola Carey. “It will be the first regional live optical event staged for years. Equally, it will be the first spring buying-focused trade fair and the first time masterclasses and workshops will run in conjunction with the O-Show. With more exhibition booths than ever before, we will see the floor packed with new products and services.”
The 100-plus booths will showcase lenses, frames, equipment demonstrations and a whole lot of fashion and fun from over 60 leading optical suppliers, Carey said. Free Spotlight sessions presenting fashion ideas, business tips and new product information will run daily, while the masterclass stream (fees apply) will run alongside the trade floor, offering tips and tools for dispensing and essential skills for optical retail staff.
Hosted at The Hordern Pavilion in Sydney’s Moore Park, ODMA is encouraging O-Show visitors to join their peers at the happy hour event at 5pm on Friday 27 May. Visitors are encouraged to pre-register for free entry at www.o-show.com.au/visitors and for a golden ticket to enter into the draw to win a Gold Coast getaway.
