In response to the ongoing pandemic, Specsavers has cancelled its annual clinical conference in September and replaced it with SCC Online Series, providing monthly CPD sessions for Australian and New Zealand optometrists.
Open to all Australasian optometrists, the series will commence on 29 July. It will include virtual presentations, panel discussions and interactive webinars on topics such as glaucoma diagnosis and co-management; diabetic retinopathy screening; KeepSight updates and more, delivering educational content tailored for clinical optometry practice with a focus on therapeutics points.
Each SCC session will be eligible for both Australian CPD Points and New Zealand CD and General Points. Non-Specsavers optometrists can register to participate in the SCC Online series through the Specsavers Spectrum-ANZ website at www.spectrum-anz.com.
A full programme and speaker list will be announced in late June.
