Shimmering matter

Directly from Silmo Paris 2022’s Trends Forum, Vanni’s new Dama line, made with the company’s exclusive acetate, captures reflections and transforms them into shimmering movement on the frames’ surface. The name was inspired by the material’s resemblance to the pearlescent sheen of damask fabrics, said Vanni, reminiscent of Renaissance-era garments. Available as a refined butterfly shape, rectangle, and a large square, these bold yet elegant sunnies come in pearl, blue and black.
