Responding to members’ feedback, The Cornea and Contact Lens Society’s (CCLS) popular one-day conference, scheduled for Sunday 26 March, will be held in Auckland at the Holiday Inn Auckland Airport. Attendees at the hybrid event will be shuttled between the venue and the airport by the Yellow Bus, providing an easy same-day fly-in, fly-out option for out-of-town delegates, said organisers.
Though the programme was being finalised at the time of print, Adelaide-based optometrist and contact lens innovator Lachlan Hoy has been confirmed as a keynote speaker. A director and founder of three eyecare companies, Hoy’s professional interests are the metrology of the eye, software-based design and the manufacture of bespoke contact lenses.
