Interior architect and designer Jun Gobron is the 2022 Silmo d’Or awards jury president.
Born in Namibia to a Belgian father and a Japanese mother, Gobron brings a multicultural lens to the jury.
Although he began in the corporate world with a degree in economics from the Free University of Brussels, Gobron eventually decided to pursue his passion for design and took up studies in interior architecture at St-Luc in Brussels. He said his designs are simple and functional, in constant search of the perfect proportions and details fit for any living environment.
