Hailey Richardson and Anna-Mary Carroll have joined Specsavers’ dispensing advancement team to help Specsavers’ dispensing opticians make the most of the company’s professional development opportunities.
Richardson, an FBDO-qualified dispensing optician and former Specsavers’ store partner, has moved into the role of dispensing advancement manager, where she will focus on the practical side of the dispensing experience for customers.
Carroll has worked in human resources (HR) in several large organisations, most recently within Specsavers’ own professional recruitment and HR teams. As Specsavers’ new dispensing development manager, she will support the growth and development of the organisation’s dispenser network through the delivery and promotion of the Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing and the new, locally-facilitated Fellowship Dispensing Diploma (FBDO)*. She will also help deliver professional development events such as the annual Specsavers Dispensing Conference, said Richard Couch, Specsavers’ head of ophthalmic lenses and dispensing advancement.
